The School of Law, University of Kashmir (KU), celebrated Constitution Day 2025 at the Main Campus to promote constitutional literacy and highlight the core values of democracy, justice, equality and liberty enshrined in the Constitution of India.
The event marked the adoption of the Indian Constitution on November 26, 1949.Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor KU, Prof. Nilofer Khan, highlighted the relevance of understanding the Constitution both as a legal document and as a moral guide for civic life.
“Every principle laid down in the preamble is crafted with wisdom and vision that continues to steer our nation,” she said, urging students to engage meaningfully with constitutional values.
