District Administration Ganderbal launched the Information Education and Communication Campaign against drug abuse under Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir with a mega awareness event held at the Auditorium Hall of Boys Higher Secondary School (HSS) Ganderbal.

The event was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Irfan Giri as the chief guest. Among other dignitaries present were Additional Deputy Commissioner, Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh; District Social Welfare Officer, Deputy CEO, and a large gathering of locals and students.

The objective of the program was to raise awareness about the menace of drug abuse and promote healthy living, and engage youth in community building. Speaking on the occasion, the DC highlighted the grave threat posed by drug abuse, particularly to the youth and their families.
