'Foolproof Security In Place For Smooth I-Day Celebrations'

Srinagar: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sopore, Iftkhar Talib, on Saturday said that the multilayered security arrangements have been put in place to ensure peaceful Independence Day celebrations in the town, with police, CRPF and other security agencies maintaining heightened vigil across the subdivision.

Speaking on the sidelines of a bike rally organised as part of the pre-Independence Day buildup, SSP Talib, said the security surveillance measures have been enhanced to preempt any untoward incident.
