Manhunt for gunman who shot former Ukraine MP

POLICE were last night searching for an assassin who shot a Ukrainian politician dead.

Former parliamentary speaker Andriy Parubiy, 54, was shot multiple times by a gunman dressed as a courier in the western city of Lviv, reports say.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said it was a “horrendous murder” and that “all necessary forces and means are engaged in the investigation and search for the killer”.
