Jobs may be at risk after River Island £33.2m loss

HIGH street clothing chain River Island is drawing up a radical rescue plan that could put shops and jobs under threat.
The family-owned business made a £33.2million pre-tax loss in the year ending December 2023, its accounts show.
Turnover during the year fell by more than 19% to £578.1m.
