THE first Estonian to ever compete in an Open Championship has hit the jackpot before he's even struck a ball at Portrush.

Richard Teder, a 20-year-old from Tallinn, made history by taking the LAST place on offer at the West Lancashire qualifier with a spectacular fairway hole-out for eagle.

And having got to the big dance, the big-hitting amateur is making the most of it by teaming up with three of golf's ultimate A-listers over the next three days.
