LIVERPOOL boss Arne Slot said he felt like it was his team who had nine men as they held on to win at Spurs.
The home side had Xavi Simons and Cristian Romero sent off and underfire boss Thomas Frank was left fuming with referee John Brooks for the dismissals.
Liverpool were two ahead before Richarlison reduced the deficit and the visitors had some nervy moments in the final stages.
"I thought that it would mean it was a bit easier, but in reality it wasn't," Slot said when asked about Romero's red.
"I thought with nine, we will probably be able then to keep them away from our goal.
