A SUPERB eight-point blitz against the wind laid the foundations for Kerry to rout Mayo at Austin Stack Park.

Only one point came from play in an exhilarating opening half, before the winners hit the turbos.

After notable cameos off the bench, Mayo teen star Kobe McDonald made his first start as the visitors were the more purposeful outfit in the first quarter.
