Magic Marcus puts leveller on a plate for supersub
MARCUS TAVERNIER produced one of the crosses of the season for Evanilson to rescue a point for Bournemouth.
It was not quite the comeback revenge the Cherries were looking for after giving up a 2-0 lead in a 3-2 defeat at Sunderland in November.
They had to make do with taking their unbeaten run to nine games while leaving Sunderland without an away win since October.
Some questioned the wisdom of screening Sunderland's longest trip of the season at 12.30pm.
But the clash at least provided enough talking points to last the six-hour trip home as there appeared to be plenty of leftovers from that fiery Stadium of Light clash.
Or maybe the players were fired up by online debates that footballers no longer tackle.
