OLYMPIC champ Daniel Wiffen has pulled out of the remainder of the World Aquatics Swimming Championships in Singapore on medical grounds.
Swim Ireland have confirmed that Wiffen's decision is based on the ongoing effects of appendicitis he suffered in June.
The reigning Olympic 800m freestyle champion lost his World Championships crown at the same distance on Wednesday.
