West Ham are stuck in a rut ...since 1980!

OSCAR Wilde said there is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about.
And that is not being talked about.
West Ham United fans know all about that. Because this incredible club, based in England's capital, are no longer hammering anyone.
And it no longer seems to be a major story that they are 17th in the Premier League, one place above the relegation places.
It seems to be that West Ham are in a comfort zone, knowing that the three clubs who come up from the Championship are always likely to go back down
Things have gone a bit weird at West Ham.
Because in spite of their league position, no one is saying this is a disastrous season, the kind of thing that has certainly been said about Spurs in 2024/25.
Clearly it should be a little embarrassing to see Bournemouth 14 points clear of them, Brentford 13 points ahead.
Yet it does not seem to be a conversation amongst the media or amongst football fans outside of the Hammers' loyal fanbase.
But this team is seriously underachieving.
Look at their attendances.
They have the second biggest average attendance in the Premier League.
Yet they are 17th.
And when you make that statistical observation to people, they react: 'are you sure?
Yet I am. It is a fact.
If you want success in football, location is important.
Players want to live and play in London.
