AS he embarked on his victory lap of the Middle East, Donald Trump wanted the world to believe that his peace plan for Gaza is the most significant thing to happen in the region since Moses parted the Red Sea.

He even boasted that it has taken 3,000 years to arrive at this moment, clearly unware that there have been plenty of peace deals between Israel and Palestine in the past and none have held firm.

But with his Jesus complex fully intact, Trump insists that this one will, even though we still don't know the full details of how everything will play out from here.
