New boss pulls no punches as he targets big prize AND more Euro glory

THOMAS Frank insists Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is right to target title success - but does not know how long it will take to deliver a maiden Premier League crown.

Levy raised eyebrows last month when he declared Europa League glory in May under Frank's predecessor Ange Postegoglou was "not enough" and the club "need to win the league", despite previously presiding over a 17-year trophy drought.

Frank has promised to try to take Spurs, who finished a record-low of 17th last season, to "new heights".

But he acknowledged Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City were the benchmark.

"I share his ambitions for the club," Frank said, when Levy's statement was put to him during his first Spurs press conference yesterday.
