Tally says red card a big lesson

DERRY boss Paddy Tally says Shane McGuigan’s red card was a harsh lesson learned — and that every other team in the country will have taken note.

The Oak Leaf men were overwhelmed in the second half of their Division 1 encounter against Armagh at the Athletic Grounds last Sunday, shipping four goals in seven minutes soon after the break.

McGuigan was sent off by referee David Gough on a second yellow card after 30 minutes.
