O'Neill: Celts are so far away from days of Stein

MARTIN O'NEILL admitted last night that brittle Celtic had been taught a brutal Euro lesson — and it's now his job to turn teacher.

And the interim Hoops boss has offered comforting words to distraught kid Callum Osmand, who left just his third senior game on a stretcher devastated with a serious hamstring injury.

The Parkhead side were shredded by Midtjylland in a seven-minute first-half spell. O'Neill admits the crumple was as much about mentality as ability and gave a clear indication of the massive work needed to be done to get Celtic back punching properly on the continent.
