Harri's Ryder Cup worry for Spaniard
PADRAIG Harrington has suggested Jon Rahm is playing a dangerous game of brinkmanship with regard to the 2027 Ryder Cup.
The Spaniard remains outside the fold for selection as he has not withdrawn his September 2025 appeal against European Tour sanctions — believed to be as high as $3m — for competing in LIV events without permission.
However, Rahm may feel that the appeal — expected to run it's course in the in next few months and he is expected to lose — has seen the court of public opinion has shift in his favour.
"There's no way that the captain and the team and the fans are want to go into a Ryder Cup without John Rahm," said Harrington. "And, you know, maybe he’s relying on that, and he can rely on it right now — there's no doubt about that.
