Probe after man injured in 'assault'

A MAN in his 50s has been taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries after an alleged assault.
-
A second man, in his 40s, has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being questioned by gardai.
The alleged assault took place on the Staplestown Road in Carlow at around midday yesterday.
