NINJA GAIDEN 4 Platform: PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X/S Genre: Action-adventure THIS game is brilliantly annoying in that it's both brilliant and annoying.

Fans of the series will know exactly what to expect with entry number four - a massive 13 years on from the last mainline Ninja title. A sword-wielding hero battling hordes of baddies in the ultimate hack-and-slash screen brawler.

Blood flies left, right and centre as you take on the role of Yakumo, a formidable young ninja whose blood-forged weapons and unique combat style lend themselves to all-out carnage.
