Long live the Irish for 64%..

MOST Irish adults are optimistic about their longevity, with 64% expecting to live beyond 80 years of age, according to a new study.

WHOOP, the human performance company, yesterday revealed that their research also highlights that only 3% of Irish adults identify good sleep as a leading factor for longevity, and among those aged 18-34, the figure drops to 0%.

This gap points to a major longevity blind spot: while Irish respondents recognise exercise, diet and genetics, few appreciate the powerful role of consistent sleep and recovery.
