WEXFORD manager Keith Rossiter insists they still have a lot to play for - even if their Leinster SHC fate is out of their hands after going down to Galway in Salthill.

The Model County host Offaly next weekend and then Kilkenny come to Wexford in the final round and Rossiter is not giving up despite losing two of their opening three games.

"The Championship is not over. Two games still to play.

"Obviously, it's gone out of our hands, which I don't like. You're looking for results, but Offaly are down next week, we need to regroup, pick ourselves off the ground.

"There's time to get ourselves right, get a couple of injuries right, and regroup for Offaly next weekend," said Rossiter (inset right).

His side were in trouble when they trailed by 0-15 to 0-11 at the break having played with the breeze in the opening half at Pearse Stadium.

"We coughed up an awful lot of possession," added Rossiter. "It's going to be a hard watch from our point of view in relation to the basic errors we're making. Carrying the ball into contact, hand-passing in contact, miss picking the ball, misplacing the pass. All the fundamental stuff of hurling that I'm just not happy about as a manager and coach.
