ISAK'S A STRIKER
Irish Daily Star
|August 13, 2025
ALEXANDER Isak has gone for the nuclear option in a desperate bid to force a move from Newcastle to Liverpool.
The wantaway striker has told the Toon he will not kick another ball for them, even if they refuse to sell him this summer.
By effectively going on strike, the Swede and his representatives are hoping Newcastle will cave in before the transfer window shuts.
Liverpool's insitial bid of €127m add-ons, made almost a fortnight ago, was rejected out of hand.
Blink
And with Newcaslte no closer to bringing in a forward who they believe can fill Isak's (above) boots, it remains to be seen who will blink first.
