Govt to get tough on the crypto criminals

CRYPTO criminals are being targeted in a bid to crack down on gangsters like the Kinahans abusing virtual currencies.
Tanaiste Simon Harris and Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan will today launch 30 actions hoping to strengthen our response to the key financial crime risks facing the country.
This includes the misuse of crypto-assets, terrorist financing and vulnerabilities linked to global financial networks.
The plan will introduce clear standards for those dealing with crypto-related funds, to ensure it's coming from legitimate sources.
