RUBEN AMORIM (inset) has insisted Manchester United will be ready to win the title in the "next few years" after Alex Ferguson claimed it could take over a decade for them to regain the Premier League crown.
Fergie compared United's current slump to the 31-year title drought Liverpool suffered and said it may be another cycle or two before his former club are ready to win the league.
The 83-year-old won 13 Premier League titles at Old Trafford but feels it could be a while before they are at the top of the tree again domestically.

"He (Amorim) is a good personality," said Ferguson in an interview with Press Box PR.
