Brown-Finnis says Wiegman's champs have become huge scalp

- FROM TOM VICTOR in Zurich

ENGLAND NOW THE HUNTED

ENGLAND need to adapt to being the hunted - rather than the hunters - after their dramatic transformation under manager Sarina Wiegman.

That is the view of ex-Lionesses keeper Rachel Brown-Finnis, with Wiegman's team going into their Euro 2025 opener against France as one of the pre-tournament favourites.

Wiegman took England all the way in 2022, winning the Euros on home soil. One year later, at the World Cup, only Spain prevented the team from adding another major trophy.

That success has brought a new reality - one Wiegman and her squad need to quickly become accustomed to. Even France another of the pre-tournament favourites will recognise how big a deal it will be to get the better of the holders in Zurich on Saturday.
