EMERY EYES A LATE PUSH IN WINDOW
Irish Daily Star
|August 30, 2025
UNAI EMERY wants to add at least two more players to his squad before Monday's transfer deadline - but will refuse to sign anyone who doesn't improve his Aston Villa team.
It has been a challenging window for Villa, who are restricted by financial regulations.
The club sold Jacob Ramsey to Newcastle for £40million and allowed Leon Bailey to join AS Roma on loan, while Kaine Kesler-Hayden, Enzo Barrenechea and Kosta Nedeljkovic have departed.
