COURT Ruth Lawrence
-
A DOUBLE MURDER accused feared she would become a victim of human trafficking and had stayed in South African women's refuges, a pastor told her trial yesterday.
The 12 jurors were also told Ruth Lawrence's boyfriend Neville van der Westhuizen is serving a 15-year sentence in Westville Prison in Durban.
He was convicted in 2020 on six counts of kidnapping, attempted murder and the murder.
