EVERY parent's nightmare is back on the big screen as M3GAN 2.0 hits cinemas on Friday.

- Here MEG JORSH (no relation)

The murderous A.I doll, Donald, is being resurrected to battle even more sinister technology.

But M3GAN's not the first eerie mannequin to give us the creeps. Here MEG JORSH (no relation) takes a look at some horrifying haunted dolls...

BOB CHILLIN'

ROBERT the Doll is a battered, expressionless little boy, an impressive 3ft 4in tall.

Dressed in a sailor suit, he was given to youngster Robert Eugene Otto in 1904, and the pair formed an unusual relationship.

When the human Robert, who became known as Gene, misbehaved, he would often say the toy was to blame.

His parents claimed to see its expression change and hear it talking to their son.

The doll was banished to the attic, where its footsteps and sinister giggles continued to echo through the house.

Then in 1994, a new owner donated it to the Fort East Martello Museum in Florida, US.

Visitors are now warned to show Robert respect and ask permission before taking his photo.

Those who offend him are said to risk misfortunes from car crashes to job losses and even divorce.
