BRADFORD boss Graham Alexander saluted "the best win of the season” after seeing his side break BLACKPOOL'S stubborn resistance.

Josh Neufville's strike secured a 1-0 home win as the Bantams bounced back from Wednesday night's 4-1 Carabao Cup defeat at Newcastle to top the table.

Alexander (above) said: "We had to keep our patience and if we kept a clean sheet, I felt we'd win the game. It's the best win of the season for me."

STEVENAGE manager Alex Revell saw Carl Piergianni head his side to a 3-2 victory at LEYTON ORIENT, with Harvey White and Lewis Freestone also finding the net.
