Surfer bitten, boy, 12, loses legs & kid targeted

A MAN and boy have been critically injured and another child had his surfboard bitten during three separate shark attacks in just over 24 hours, police said.

A surfer in his 20s was bitten on a leg by a shark off North Steyne Beach in Sydney, Australia at 6.20pm local time yesterday.

Bystanders pulled him from the water before an ambulance took him to a hospital in a critical condition, police said.
