Always open about his failing health
Irish Daily Star
|June 20, 2025
LORD Henry Mount Charles stepped away from the public spotlight as far back as 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The rock lord revealed he had to “pay an unwelcome visit to A&E" to St James's Hospital.
The Slane Castle owner communicated his health woes to fans on his blog posts in recent years.
But it was 2019 when Mount Charles last spoke to us while walking around the show gardens at Bord Bia Bloom.
He spoke about wanting to make the best of Metallica when the rock stars played Slane that year, admitting he had been close to death's door weeks previously.
