Hoops back in business & Belgian ace Engels says O'Neill's return has side bouncing again

- BY MICHAEL GANNON

A SYSTEM REBEAUT

ARNE ENGELS reckons the Celtic squad can see clearly again now the Nancy reign has gone.

The Belgian didn't want to put the boot in to the departed boss but he didn't have to.

There was enough evidence on the pitch in the 4-0 victory against Dundee United to prove his point.

Engels admitted the confidence that had evaporated under Brother Wilfried came flooding back with a vengeance with Martin O'Neill back on board.

There was cohesion instead of confusion thanks to a coaching approach that seems to have gone out of fashion these days.

The returning club legend made it SIMPLE for Celts.

O'Neill has gone back to basics - and got the side back in the title race.

Engels also hit form again and capped a dominant display with a cool finish to make it 2-0 before the break after Yang's superb open.

Benjamin Nygren and Daizen Maeda gave Celts daylight in the second period and Engels said: "It's really strange for us. Obviously, there weren't the results that we were hoping for. But I think now that's behind us.
