A Corrs for celebration

THE Corrs are set to be honoured with a Legend Award at this year's 02 Silver Clef Awards.

The Dundalk group will receive the prestigious award in recognition of their lasting influence on music. They will join previously announced winners David Gilmour, Rick Astley, Soul II Soul and IDLES for a special evening dedicated to the power of music.

In a statement, The Corrs said: "Music unites us as a family, and sharing our journey with fans around the world is truly special.
