19 huge winners during 2025 including a €250m megapot

LAST year was an epic one for Lotto players with 19 big wins including a €250million EuroMillions jackpot, the largest prize ever handed over in this country.

Across 2025, two EuroMillions jackpots, nine Lotto jackpots and seven Daily Million top prizes were won, with players nationwide joining the list of National Lottery millionaires throughout the year.

Dublin was very lucky, with some of the biggest prizes won by players located in the county.

In total, 29 players in Ireland won prizes worth €1m and above. Over the 12-month period, the Lotto jackpot was won nine times by players in Dublin, Kerry, Kilkenny, Limerick, Louth, Waterford, Mayo and Westmeath.

Dublin's wins began in February, when a Lotto Plus 1 online player scooped €1m.

On the same day, a Lotto player won €2,935,144 on a ticket sold at an Apple-green shop in Rathcoole, Co Dublin.
