WICKLOW ROAR BACK TO REACH THE LAST FOUR

booked their places in this morning's Tailteann Cup semi-finals draw.

The games will be at Croke Park next weekend and the draw will be conducted to avoid the repeating of Championship encounters from earlier this summer.

Oisin McConville’s Wicklow reached the last four after yesterday's remarkable 2-18 to 2-17 win over Westmeath in Aughrim.

The Lake led by 2-17 to 2-13 in the final stages but the Garden - who had earlier been eight points adrift - produced a stunning late rally to go through against a side that had Joseph Moran black-carded.

Conor Fee, a two-pointer from Mark Jackson, Podge O'Toole and Dean Healy notched the scores that ensured Wicklow’s progress.
