TRIO ON CORRUPTION CHARGE
Irish Daily Mirror
|September 05, 2025
THE long-running case of Hillsin, whose strong- finishing third at Worcester in July 2023 sparked a storm of controversy, will finally result in charges being brought on Monday.
Jockey Dylan Kitts, trainer Chris Honour and John Higgins, father-in-law of Burnley striker Ashley Barnes, will face charges of “committing a corrupt or fraudulent
practice" by stopping the gelding from achieving the best possible placing in a conditional jockeys’ handicap hurdle.
