FROM our vantage point in Israel, just two miles from the border with Gaza, we witnessed blasts in central and northern regions of the Strip throughout yesterday morning.

- BY CHRIS HUGHES

Tank and artillery fire launched from within Israel boomed out across the Nova Festival site during the ceremony held to remember the dead and those taken hostage in the October 7 attacks.

Three women were killed in one neighbourhood, according to reports from within Gaza, when it was hit by at least five Israeli strikes. It is not known where this neighbourhood was.

A boy was shot in the head in eastern Gaza, and at least six Palestinians were killed in separate attacks across Khan Younis in the south, according to local health chiefs.
