LINING UP Geri Halliwell- Horner, Olivia Horner and Christian Horner

VICTORIA Beckham has revealed the multi-million pound losses at her fashion brand sent her to a “dark place” crying every day - and put a strain on her marriage.

At the lowest point her husband Sir David feared the business could not survive, and after ploughing in millions of his own cash he was left worried about what would happen next.

In a new Netflix documentary, out today, the ex-Spice Girl also hints at a possible eating disorder in the past and explains she famously does not smile in photos as she puts “a barrier up” when she sees photographers.

On the failing company, Victoria says she felt embarrassed and had to come home and discuss it with Beckham, who is also her business partner.

At its worst she felt like she was “breaking down” as debts spiralled and she found herself an emotional mess.

Victoria, who was joined by her family at last night's premiere in Mayfair, says: “It’s been a hell of a journey. I almost lost everything. That was a dark, dark time. I used to cry before I went to work every day. We were tens of millions in the red.”

The mum of four, 51, tells how she hated it when she had to go home and talk to David, 50, about the crisis.

He adds: “I think part of that conversation broke my heart, because Victoria is a proud woman. When we met, she was a lot richer than me. She bought our first house in Hertfordshire, known as Beckenham palace.
