PEP DOESN'T MIND THE GAP
Irish Daily Mirror
|October 27, 2025
PEP GUARDIOLA insists it is still too early to be concerned about the gap between Manchester City and leaders Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
Guardiola's side are already six points behind but have chased down Arsenal in the title race before, memorably overhauling them in the 2023-24 season, and will have to do it again if they want to get their hands on the trophy. But the City boss (above) is not worried yet.
"Arsenal have been solid for many years, this time the concern is how we can improve - better, better, better - to be close," he said after a third successive Villa Park defeat.
