Paddy makes a pint of following Xmas traditions

Kielty said people start celebrating Christmas too early but once the Toy Show is over he throws himself into the festive spirit.The holiday is always celebrated with family in his native Dundrum, Co Down, and there are traditions he likes to follow, too.

Marking Christmas with family comes off the busyness of hosting the Toy Show, Ireland's most watched annual TV event and Patrick's sons Milo and James love that their dad is at the helm.

TOGETHER

Patrick, 54, told RSVP Magazine: "It'll just be the usual, family getting together and that sort of thing.

"I find everything starts too early. Once the Toy Show is done and you get that out of the way, you can think further down the line.
