Another day, another Hammers s**t show as Soucek slams lack of focus for forever blowing it
TOMAS SOUCEK believes West Ham's end-of-game horror shows are down to focus and needing to be mentally stronger.
Plenty of people have had their say after the Hammers coughed up points to last-gasp goals at Bournemouth, Liverpool, Everton and home to Southampton last week.
In total, the side Graham Potter inherited in January have lost 10 points to goals scored in the 89th minute or later in games.
But Saturday's defeat at Brighton was a new low as they conceded twice to lose a game they led with just two minutes of normal time left to play.
"Someone said it is bad luck," offered Soucek. "Someone said it is coincidence someone said other things but I would say if we are more focused, if we are as focused as the first 40 minutes in the second half it would not happen. It's about mentality, we need to be stronger.
"We need to be the team who has more power at the end and today wasn't that case and we have to learn from that."
