New album Fenian out in April

- CASEY COOPER-FISKE

RAP trio Kneecap have announced a new album claiming UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer describing them as terrorists was "all the motivation we needed".

The Belfast band - Liam Og O hAnnaidh, Naoise O Caireallain and JJ O Dochartaigh - will release Fenian on April 24, after they hit the headlines in 2025 when O hAnnaidh was charged with a terror offence.

The charge, which was dropped last September, alleged the accused, stage name Mo Chara, displayed a flag supporting Hezbollah at a gig in London in 2024. Hezbollah is proscribed as a terror group by the British government.
