Kids mental health help wait up 5%

THE number of children and teenagers on mental health service waiting lists jumped by 5% in a month, figures revealed yesterday.
Data provided to Sinn Fein's David Cullinane also showed 4,434 young people were on waiting to access Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services at the end of March.
He asked Health Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill to confirm the numbers on waiting lists by area and wait time band.
At the end of February, there were 4,228 children waiting to access CAMHS.
