Joel: Davina's unbelievable

Host of The Masked Singer tells of his admiration for judge after health ordeals

WHILE the rest of us count down to Christmas, Joel Dommett is looking forward to the New Year, when he will reprise his role as Masked Singer host.

With the rumour mill churning over which celebrities will be under the costumes, Joel, 40, is most excited about being reunited with one of the judges: Davina McCall.

He says: “She's unbelievable. She's become a real good friend of mine.”

The seventh series feels particularly poignant as Davina, 58, returns to work after a series of terrifying health scares.

Late last year she had a benign brain tumour removed, then she revealed last month that she'd had breast cancer surgery.
