REPRESENTING Laois, Katelyn Cummins was crowned the 2025 International Rose of Tralee on Tuesday night.

Well, the 21-year-old wasn't actually crowned. She didn't receive a tiara.
Since 2022, winners of the festival haven't been given any kind of glitzy headpiece - which was tradition.
This is because organisers said it was outdated and little girls watching at home don't need a tiara to be successful.
