Villans miss an open goal after Reinildo sees red as Wilson makes them wait for first league win

ISIDOR SLAMS SHUT ON EMERY

ASTON VILLA finally scored but are still on the hunt for their first Premier League win of the season after being held by 10-man Sunderland.

Villa had gone goalless in their first four games but Matty Cash broke their duck at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland had already seen Reinildo Mandava sent off for kicking out at Cash before the Poland international netted in the 67th minute.

However, their lead was short-lived as Wilson Isidor equalised eight minutes later to ensure Villa remain winless after five league games.

Sunderland made two changes from the previous weekend's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace as Enzo Le Fee lined up alongside 18-year-old Chris Rigg, while Villa also made two changes from their goalless draw against Everton with Evann Guessand and Boubacar Kamara coming in.
