Gilligan freed on €10k bail from Spain jail

GANGSTER John Gilligan has celebrated his first weekend of freedom in more than eight months.
The veteran criminal, 73, was allowed to leave a Spanish prison after paying €10,000 bail.
He will continue to be investigated over a cocaine bust last December at a two-bedroom property near the Costa Blanca resort of Torrevieja.
He was alleged to be running a Breaking Bad-style lab at the site said to be capable of producing up to €8m worth of drugs.
