Gardai probing threat to Tanaiste & his family

TARGET Tanaiste Simon Harris has been threatened with online messages previously

GARDAÍ are investigating a serious threat made to Tánaiste Simon Harris and his family.

It's understood a threat posing harm to his young children was made on social media yesterday morning.

The Tánaiste alerted gardaí to the message and a criminal investigation is underway.

Gardaí from Wicklow, the National Cyber Crime Bureau and the Special Detective Unit are conducting investigations.
