Fan-tastic turnaround for 'Rado'

EMMA RADUCANU turned things around to seal a 6-4 6-1 victory over Thailand's Mananchaya Sawangkaew with the help of a vocal fan.

One Aussie inside Margaret Court Arena cheered for "Rado"" throughout the match, telling her: "Big serve and forehand, that's your strengths." And the British No.1 was so thrilled with the support that she invited the fan to her matches.

"Never heard that before.

Pretty original," Raducanu said of her new nickname.

"To have that on my side in the big moments, it was a good spur of encouragement.
