She's helped her dad on his window cleaning round, now Greaves is out to sparkle at Ally Pally
QUEEN of the Palace Fallon Sherrock bowed out of the World Darts Championship last night after losing 3-0 to Dave Chisnall.
Sherrock could not conjure the magic which saw her beat Ted Evetts to become the first woman to win at Alexandra Palace in 2019.
The crowd got behind the Milton Keynes star, but Chisnall (with Sherrock, above) quickly silenced them by taking the first two sets.
Chisnall said: "It was massive. It was only for her not hitting her doubles, that could have made a lot of difference. She scored well, but I did it at the right times.”
The 45-year-old faces Ricardo Pietreczko in the second round.
In the afternoon session, Kenyan veterinarian David Munyua beat Mike De Decker in one of the biggest upsets in darts history.
Munyua, 30, became the first ever Kenyan to win at Ally Pally when he came from two sets down to stun 2024 World Grand Prix champion De Decker 3-2.
Munyua said: “It's going crazy back in my country - everybody is like, 'We did it’. It's a great feeling.”
Japanese star Motomu Sakai danced his way to the stage before destroying Thibault Tricole 3-0.
Sakai, who took up darts age 16 as his friends told him it would attract girls, faces fellow debutant Andreas Harrysson next.
Glen Durrant, Ryan Joyce, whitewashed Patrick Kovacs and Owen Bates respectively, while Jermaine Wattimena edged Dominik Gruellich 3-2.
