Elliott in good Company to continue his domination
Irish Daily Mirror
|December 13, 2025
GORDON ELLIOTT will expect to continue his domination of the listed Irish EBF Future Champions Flat Race, the only non-handicap on tomorrow's Navan card.
The Master of Cullentra House, who has won eight of the last nine renewals of this event, will run two recent winners, Keep Him Company and Panjandrum, both owned by Gigginstown House Stud, in a field of five — all previous winners.
Marginal preference is for Keep Him Company, the mount of Josh Halford, who spearheaded a notable 1-2-3 for Elliott in a race which commemorates his uncle Willie, at Fairyhouse two weeks ago.
The French-bred gelding, who cost £220,000 on the back of a Kildorrery point-to-point success (for John Costello), displayed a good attitude in the Fairyhouse race, rallying when switched and staying on dourly to beat Generous Risk by three lengths, with well-touted favourite Premier Division in third.
